Mindfulness is the awareness that arises through paying attention on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgmentally. Being mindful teaches us how to 'be' rather than 'do'. Do/Action=motion. Being=recognizing and sitting with our emotions.   In this episode Ash sits down with a licensed social worker who specializes in mindfulness and has 11 years working specifically with teenagers.  She explains the benefits of living a mindful life, takes us through a lesson, and gives examples on how we can implement these practices into our daily life.
